Made with an ultra-natural base of pure beef tallow and coconut oil, it creates a perfectly balanced lather: not too bubbly, not too creamy, just right.

Most commercial soaps strip your skin of its natural moisture, but we do things differently. We carefully calculate our recipe to include extra, untouched oils that don't get turned into soap (a traditional method known as "superfatting"). This means that as you wash, the soap leaves behind a deeply moisturizing, protective layer of rich fats that keeps your skin from feeling tight or dry.

To take that nourishment a step further, we swapped out standard water in the soap-making process for deeply hydrating goat’s milk. We then enriched the formula with exceptionally high concentrations of soothing chamomile and calendula extracts to properly support and protect your skin.

And the scent? Instead of flashy, artificial aromas, we've opted for subtle pleasure. Thanks to the natural chamomile and a touch of pure bitter almond oil, this soap tempts with a delightfully delicate, herbal marzipan scent. No synthetic fragrances. No shortcuts. Just carefully selected ingredients that will care for your skin.

How to use it?

Wet the soap, rub between your hands to create lather, cleanse your skin, and rinse thoroughly. After use, place the soap on a draining soap dish to allow it to dry.

The product has a shelf life of two years from the date of production, which is indicated on the packaging. Our cosmetics are made in small batches on an ongoing basis, so you can be sure that the product you receive will be fresh and have a long remaining shelf life.

100% Pure Beef Tallow

Virgin Coconut Oil

Frequently asked questions

Why isn't my soap a perfectly uniform color or shape?

Because it’s the real deal! We craft this soap in small batches using the traditional cold-process method. Since we use goat's milk and pure plant extracts instead of synthetic dyes and commercial machinery, you might notice slight variations in color (usually a beautiful, natural honey shade) or a slightly rustic edge from bar to bar. It’s a sign that your skincare is truly handmade.

I see "lye" (sodium hydroxide) on the ingredients list. Is that safe for my skin?

Yes, 100%. The truth is, you actually can't make real soap without lye! During the soap-making process (called saponification), the lye reacts completely with the tallow and coconut oil. We also "superfat" our recipe, meaning we purposely use more oils than the lye can process. The result? Absolutely zero lye remains in the finished bar—just pure, deeply moisturizing soap.

Why doesn't the marzipan scent linger on my skin all day?

We purposely skip the synthetic "parfums" and artificial fragrances that cling to your skin for hours (and often cause irritation). We rely entirely on a subtle amount of pure bitter almond essential oil and natural chamomile. It’s designed to give you a comforting, sensory pleasure in the shower without overpowering your senses or clinging to your skin artificially.

Why is my soap getting softer than my old drugstore soap?

Commercial soaps are packed with synthetic hardeners and detergents to make them last forever in a wet shower. Because our Herbal Tallow Bar Soap is completely natural, rich in goat's milk, and heavily "superfatted" with extra moisturizing oils, it needs a little breathing room. To make your bar last as long as possible, keep it on a slatted, well-draining soap dish where it can dry out completely between uses.

How long will one bar of soap last me?

You might be surprised! Because it’s a dense, traditional soap, a little lather goes a very long way. In our testing, we found that for a single person showering once a day, one bar will easily last anywhere from two to three months. To get the absolute most out of that lifespan, just make sure to keep it on a slatted, well-draining soap dish so it can dry completely between uses.
